Patricia Hasn’t Felt This Good in 20 Years
What encouraged you to enroll in Dr. Lara’s weight loss program?
The global Covid 19 pandemic has caused many indirect health issues unrelated to the actual virus itself. Mine was major weight gain.
I was working for the largest Community Health Center in Pinellas County as part of the first response team getting people tested and vaccinated, while still providing services to underserved, low-income, uninsured, and underinsured in our communities. The high demand for testing caused extremely long hours and work on Saturdays. The long work hours combined with the mandatory lockdowns and major change in daily routine led to weight gain and, in my case, major obesity.
Like most people who gained weight during the pandemic, I also was in denial of the amount of weight I gained until I saw myself in a picture. I could not believe my eyes. The amount of weight I gained was too much for me to release by myself. My good friend Michelle referred me to Dr. Lara Weight Loss & Wellness. After seeing the results she was having, I figured I have nothing to lose, so I made my appointment.
What kind of weight loss results did you experience?
During that appointment, I have to say I was blown away by the program. I was so excited I signed up that started my weight loss journey on Christmas Eve. In my first week, I lost almost 10 pounds, and every week after, I was losing weight. But I have that stubborn area which happened to be my thighs. I inquired about adding laser treatments with the weight loss program. I tried a complimentary treatment on my abdominal area. From my first treatment, I lost a total of almost 3 inches. I would be happy to lose that on my thighs, so I added the recommended 12 treatments for my hips and thighs to my program. Between the weight loss program and 12 green laser treatments, I lost 13 inches in my thighs.
What would you say to someone thinking about joining Dr. Lara’s program?
This program has given me way more than I even expected. I have lost more weight than I gained during the pandemic, but better yet, this 55-year-old grandma is in better health mentally and physically than I was when I was in my late 30s.
