Firecracker Shrimp

Siracha sauce and soy sauce combine to make this Firecracker Shrimp meal flavorful.

Firecracker Shrimp require minimal preparation when you buy deveined shrimp.  Slightly spicy but not overwhelming to your taste buds, these shrimp will please you at mealtime and help you stay on track with your weight loss program. The sauce is perfect for chicken too.

Ingredients:

  • 4oz shrimp deveined
  • 1/8 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1-2 tablespoons Siracha
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of lime juice
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 1 clove minced garlic

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients
    Combine all ingredients. (Note: This recipe can be made with chicken.)
  2. Marinate
    Marinate shrimp for 30 minutes
  3. Saute & Serve
    Sautee ingredients in a skillet on medium-high cook shrimp 2-3 minutes per side and serve. (Note: If using chicken, the cooking time will be longer.)
